This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills necessary for the safe and effective use of the AR-15 platform in a defensive context. Topics covered include proper carbine setup and customization, safe gun handling and storage, efficient shooting fundamentals, malfunction clearing, tactical reloading, and basic positional shooting. Students will develop a strong understanding of their equipment and the core skills required for responsible carbine ownership and defensive application. This is a foundational course and assumes no prior experience with the AR-15.
